Postdoctoral Position at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, TN
The Computer Science and Mathematics Division at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory has an immediate opening for a Postdoctoral Associate - Computational Biology.

Successful candidates will work with an interdisciplinary team fo applied mathematicians, computer scientists, and biologiest to develop new mathematical and computational algorithms for solving emerging problems in genomics, structural biology, and biological systems.

The position requires a PhD in mathematics, data science, computational biology, computer science or related discipline. Experience in development of computational algorithms in one or more of the following areas is required: pattern recognition, solution of large system of equations, optimization, or large-scale data intepretation. Experience in parallel computer applications and parallel computer applications and parallel software development is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated organization skills are required.
